Work shouldn’t have to fit around the software.
Build the system around your people instead. We combine HR understanding with bespoke software development to turn awkward processes into clear, connected workflows.
Start with the way you want to work.
Explore three example workflows. Switch views, tick off a task and see how a clear process can become a useful system.
An illustrative concept. Your system would be scoped and built around your organisation.
New starter journey
Join up the tasks between offer acceptance and a confident first day.

People teamManagerIT
Built for the problem. Designed for the people.
A bespoke build can be focused on one stubborn process or connect several parts of your employee journey.
Employee portals
Give people a clear place to find information, request support and complete tasks.
Recruitment & onboarding
Connect applications, decisions, new-starter tasks and a structured welcome.
Case & workflow management
Define responsibilities, records, access and next steps around your process.
People reporting
Bring approved data together in views that support useful decisions.
System integration
Assess how your HR, payroll and business tools can exchange the information they need.
Implementation & adoption
Plan migration, testing, training and handover alongside the software itself.
A considered route from idea to everyday use.
- 1
Discover
Map the users, workflow, pain points and desired outcomes.
- 2
Design
Agree a prototype, requirements and what success looks like.
- 3
Build & test
Develop the agreed scope and test it with representative users.
- 4
Launch & support
Prepare the rollout, documentation, handover and support arrangements.
Access permissions, data handling, accessibility, integrations and ongoing ownership are part of the discovery conversation, not afterthoughts.
A few good questions.
Something else on your mind? Put it in your brief and we’ll answer it when we reply.
Do we need to replace our existing HR system?
Not necessarily. The best brief may be a focused workflow, an integration or a complementary tool. Discovery should establish what already works and where a bespoke build would add value.
Who owns the software and how is it supported?
Ownership, licensing, hosting, maintenance and support are agreed in the contract. They should be explicit before development starts.
Can we start with a small prototype?
Yes. A scoped discovery and prototype can help clarify the requirements before committing to a larger implementation.
Using BrightHR or Breathe?
HRjoy works with both. Keep the software for everyday HR admin and bring us in for the work that needs a consultant, or get set up through us.
Your next system starts with a conversation.
Bring the process, the frustration or the idea. We’ll help shape a clear software brief.
